Chairman and instructor  - Alexander Vasiliev – 1st Dan Aikido Aikikai (since he was 13 he’s been training sambo, djudo and other martial arts) Aikido training experience – since 1995. In 2003 Mr. Vsailiev entered the Russian Aikido Federation, headed by Nikolay Egorov.
Novgorod Branch of the Russian Aikido Federation was registered in 2004.
For the time that the studio has been operating many teen-agers and adults got involved in Aikido and passed Grading test. The better developed students with their instructor regularly visit Moscow and take part in Aikido Summer Schools, All-Russia Aikido Festivals. Mr. Vasiliev with his students make performances in Borovichi in terms of various sport event.
In May 2009 Mr. Vasiliev passed 1st Dan Grading test. His students obtained 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Kyu.
The studio is open every day except Friday and Sunday.
1.   Junior group. Age: 7-13. Tuesday, Thursday - 18.30-20.00, Saturday – 14.30-16.00. (10-12 members)
2. Advanced group. Age: from 14 years old. Monday, Wednesday – 18.30-20.30. Saturday – 16.00 -17.30. (6-8 members)
Studio has 16-20 members.
